LT Patrick and Family

LT Weston Patrick was born and raised in small-town Wasilla, Alaska, and graduated from Northwest Nazarene University (NNU) in Nampa, Idaho, with a B.S. in Engineering Physics. While at NNU, LT Patrick was accepted into the Navy’s NUPOC program and, after college, commissioned through OCS in Newport, Rhode Island, as part of the 2014 year group.

Following completion of training, LT Patrick reported to USS Cheyenne (SSN 773) in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. While onboard, he served as the Chemistry and Radiological Controls Assistant, the Assistant Operations Officer, the Communications Officer, and the Ship’s Diving Officer. LT Patrick completed two Western Pacific deployments during his time on USS Cheyenne.

After his successful first Sea Tour, LT Patrick served as a Shift Engineer and the Operations Officer at the S8G prototype in Ballston Spa, New York. He was a critical team member as operations transitioned from student training into a massive overhaul and refueling period.

LT Patrick currently attends the Naval Postgraduate School, where he studies Applied Physics in the Combat Systems Sciences curriculum. When he isn’t working hard towards his Master’s Degree, he loves to play socces, travel with his partner and their dog, hike all of the fantastic trails in the Monterey area, and fly small planes with the Navy Flying Club.
